LocalReview Direct, a service of Income Empire Business LLC, is the software and messaging service that local businesses use to send review requests by text. The business you did work with is the sender; LocalReview Direct carries the message on its behalf. LocalReview Direct is a service of Income Empire Business LLC, 4201 South 205th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74014, US.
Opt-in evidence: exact verbal consent script
"Hi, this is [Business Name]. May we send you a text message with a link to leave us a Google review? If you say yes, you will receive review request text messages from [Business Name] at this mobile number, about 1 message per completed job. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Our privacy policy is at localreviewdirect.com/privacy."
Disclosures given at opt-in
- Who is sending: the local business the customer just paid, using LocalReview Direct as its messaging provider.
- What is sent: one SMS asking for a Google review, with at most one reminder.
- Message frequency: about 1 message per completed job.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help.
- Consent is never a condition of purchase and is never bought, rented or shared.

1. Who obtains consent
The business obtains and keeps the consent — not LocalReview Direct. We never collect consumer phone numbers ourselves, never buy or supply contact lists, and have no consumer signup or checkout.
2. How customers opt in
Verbal consent at the point of sale or job completion is the most common method. The business asks:
"Hi, this is [Business Name]. May we send you a text message with a link to leave us a Google review? If you say yes, you will receive review request text messages from [Business Name] at this mobile number, about 1 message per completed job. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Our privacy policy is at localreviewdirect.com/privacy."
Written consent is recorded on the business's copy of the one-page Customer SMS Review Request Consent Form, which the business retains.
Text-to-join: a customer who texts the business's number first has opted in to a reply.
Consent is never a condition of purchase.
3. What subscribers receive
After a completed, paid job, the customer receives one review-request text from the business, with at most one reminder. Typical frequency is one message per completed job. Example message:
Hi Dana, thanks for choosing Northside Plumbing! Would you mind leaving us a quick Google review? https://g.page/r/example Reply STOP to opt out.
Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to stop messages from that business immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email support@localreviewdirect.com. Opt-outs are enforced by the platform and cannot be overridden by the business.
